[CHICAGO] HALLOWEEN

GHOULS-2015-web

There is no better way to spend Halloween than with Naked Girls Reading. For the ELEVENTH year in a row, we continue the tradition of Naked GHOULS Reading by regaling you with the scariest of scary tales, macabre moments and ghoulishly ghastly stories.

Maybe we’ll read Stephen King and Mary Shelley. Maybe it’ll be RL Stein or Twilight Zone. Maybe it’ll be Brett Kavanagh. Who knows? And as always, we’ll be in “costume” while we expose paranormal phenomena before your very eyes. This is not for the faint of heart.

Join us on the evening of October 29th for a special edition of the acclaimed literary salon. We promise to scare our own pants off.

Show at 8:00pm. Doors open at 7:30pm.

GET YOUR TICKETS NOW! This even usually sells out.

CHICAGO – BANNED BOOKS WEEK

SEPT 29th – 8pm

NGR BANNED BOOKS POSTER 01There is nothing more subversive than reading banned books. Except maybe reading them naked…in public! Haters be damned, we’re doing it. The Chicago cast of Naked Girls Reading is stripping down to show you why these pieces of literary rebellion are important.

Join the Revolution in Chicago on September 29th as we strip down and read selections from the Banned Books List.

Every September, the ALA organizes international Banned Books Week to draw attention to the problem of censorship in our country.

So we decided there was no better way to celebrate our F-READ-om than by taking our clothes off and doing it live in front of an audience!

(CHICAGO) Summer Road Trip!

Get in the car!

We’re going to take you on the ultimate naked road trip. Route 66, Anthony Bourdain, Hunter S. Thompson, special guest Bull Garlington, author of “The Full English”

[From Amazon: This is not a guide book. It isn’t Fodor’s or a Lonely Planet guide. God knows such literature would be quite helpful if you plan, like the author, to take your family on an epic journey. The Full English won’t. Not even a little.]

It’s going to be quite a ride!

Doors open at 7:30pm.  Show starts promptly at 8pm. BYOB, however we do have limited beer and wine available.

July 21st at Studio L’amour
